Braddah Chic's Reviews

Reading reviews on Google I was compelled to bolster ratings. Here's the thing, this place clearly isn't setting out to lead the charge in culinary innovation. She's doing a great job meeting tourists along their journey. She's making some great food and drinks to offer folks along their drive and we'd definitely stop here again. Let's talk food. We ordered a Maui Dog, cheeseburger and a Teri burger along with a smoothie. All of them were very satisfying. Nothing wrong at all. Now we're not submitting these burgers to Michelin but that's not her aim. So if you're thinking that your gonna drive out here for some life-changing food then you're just going to be disappointed. If you're driving around Maui and stop here for the view and the experience you'll be happy you did!! She was SO KIND!! I'm talking like 'her friends are lucky to have her' kind. She was constantly telling folks what she was working on, what she was out of, and delivered it all with a genuine smile. We probably waited 15 min for our food but we sat there enjoying our break and taking in the tremendous view. If you're thinking that Gordon Ramsay is going to be expediting food over the counter you're not doing it right. Stop here along your journey, enjoy the food and the kindness of a gentle soul who clearly is excited to have you stop at her little business. Enjoy it for what it is and you'll find this to be the perfect stop during your trip around Western Maui.

Absolutely a must stop. Super friendly. Amazing smoothies. Beautiful view. We can't wait to return!

Made a pit stop here after hiking the Waihe'e Ridge Trail and it was 10000% worth it. The mango-passonfruit smoothie was so refreshing and absolutely delicious. We also got the shrimp plate which was equally impressive. Fresh shrimp with an extremely flavorful sauce on top. The icing on the cake is the view that you get to enjoy your food/drink with. Right on the cliff side offering great views just about any way you look. Highly recommend.

If you are brave enough to travel to the north east coast of Maui then you deserve to stop at this food establishments. Good food, friendly people, beautiful view and a chance to stretch your legs and catch your breath. I know I will be back to enjoy all of the above.

After traversing the scariest piece of road where I put the car in reverse toward the cliff to let up hill traffic pass... I was rewarded with Aunitie Tahitian Lime Pie too good to get picture. Don't share buy 2! Everything I had was delicious. The Vanilla shake was icy and coconutty. Sooo good! Tart Lime and sweet!!! This pie is for people who like Lime! It is real lime flavor not candy lime taste. Soooooo good! I might brave the drive to get it again.

As you drive the rugged north shore of West Maui, one of the best surprises is Braddah Chic's. Super cool guy serving locally sourced shrimp, burgers, hot dogs, smoothies, etc. Flavor-packed smoothies. The shell-on shrimp was ultra fresh and perfectly seasoned. The beef was Maui-grazed with a soft richness missing in so much mainland meat. Even the Maui Dog was delicious. Fries, too. A fabulous find, so out of the way. Cash only, but reasonably priced. We paid $33 for one smoothie and 3 items, fries included.

We almost died getting here when multiple cars came at us on a single lane road and no one could pass each other. But the shrimp are amazing, as is the pina colada shake. Skip the burger, and bring cash. And please, drive slowly and be prepared to go in reverse to allow other cars to get by.

Found this place at the perfect time! My boyfriend and I had been driving for a while, were extremely thirsty, and needed a break from the winding roads of Maui. Not only was this probably the best mango smoothie I have had (or will ever have) in my life, but the scenery around the stand couldn't have been more picture perfect. Braddah Chic's is located pretty much over a cliff giving you full views of where the ocean meets the shoreline on that side of the island. The worker was friendly and welcoming, really making this a perfect stop when one is in need of a cold, refreshing smoothie on those hot Maui days. They have food and snacks too if you need to really refuel on the road!

Oh yeah! I hadn't been here in years, and the last time he was in that bus. This time he's got a new trailer set up, but the food is just as good as I remember. Now, don't be fooled by the map. He's nowhere near the real Wailuku, which is down in central Maui. The only way to Braddah Chic's is along the winding, harrowing northern route around the West Maui Mountains. He's about 5 miles (15-20 minutes) east of the Nakalele Blowhole, just above a tiny little town near Kahakuloa Bay. Understand that this is like a mini "Road to Hana", with one-lane roads, blind corners, and the possibility of backing up along cliff edges to let other's through. If you find yourself at Braddah Chic's it's most likely because you decided to explore the furthest reaches of Maui. That's a shame, because I'd love to drive there regularly for the ono grindz. The hot dog was pretty good, the burger was even better, but the shrimp plate was amazing. Then there's the smoothies, made fresh and with no dairy, that really hit the spot. So, please... head out there. Explore. Even if not to see the sights of the Kahekili Highway, then at least to bring this excellent food truck more business. Mahalo and Aloha, Braddah Chic!

I had the yummy hurricane rice and my husband had the flavorful Kalua Pork. Both were made fresh and so delicious. There are picnic tables behind with stunning views of Elephant rock and Kahakuloa village. Had a nice, familiar conversation with the man who took our order and his wife, Amanda, the beauty behind the menu. Wonderful people! Will definitely brave the north shore road anytime for this meal again, and will try their smoothies next time. Tip: please be considerate and respectful by driving with aloha as you pass through the neighboring villages.
